It had become a habit (081/365)

"Betrayal: The Creature"

"It was a particularly golden dusk. One in which a pipe, block a' pine & a good knife woulda' been just fine...

It had become a habit, sitting out on the porch with my back to the forest. Part of me wasn't lookin' for anymore trouble out there, and the other part just liked settin' eyes on what I'd built. Like I say, when all is just 'bout right, it doesnt stay that way for long."

Andddddd DONE. Sorry to leave you all hanging =p Just have to tune in tomorrow, right?

Second of my series Betrayal: The Creature

Before I do a little journal entry, just want to let everyone know i DONT smoke. I actually have some weird OCD allergic thing with smoke. Not sure...its totally strange but i ALWAYS have to count and hold my breath if I smell anything, sometimes even gasping for air that is anywhere clean. I'm not someone who is abnoxious about it though either. If you want to smoke, thats your choice. I won't judge you, I promise.

Late upload today! Went to dinner with grandma in the middle of this edit. Got me really anxious to finish! Then went straight to portraiture because she had to take me. My poor little jetta is still in the shop! :[ Its been good to me so far. I will be so happy tomorrow to sleep in, go shopping, have tea with grandma, and finish it off with some fun with my brat pack. Ohhhh fridays. you are perfect.

a wise man once said, "Desire without Knowledge is not good."

"Betrayal: The Creature"

Passionate & Prepared are two different concepts. In the months prior to this letter, I have been filled with passion & desire. But Prepared for the Leadership expected of me, I was not. A wise man once said, Desire without Knowledge is not good. That's the place at which I would myself. And anytime you're 'bout to get it right, the Enemy's not far from makin' everything wrong.

The first of my new series "the creature."

Each picture, youll learn more about the characters and the amazing story line. I interpreted one of Jer's writings last year in film and was super happy with it. He is amazingly talented at writing, and I love doing projects based off of them.

before and after

so obviously there was some heavy post-production. first i extracted myself out of the phots so that it was just silly old me. then i created a new layer that was all white. after i touched up the areas around me that were left over from the extraction, i post-processed it how i wanted. i then created a drop-shadow below me to get the real "studio" feel. then i created the vignette so it wasnt just ME. you know? hope that helps some of you!

pullin' the hat (079/365)

taken in my grandpa's garage with a small set-up. thanks Jer for the pipes (home depot...who woulda thought?) lit with a 430 EX at 1/8 power...

hope you are all doing well! i had a small migrain today during my sociology class. also had an interview today that went well. portraiture tonight. i love it anddddd sorta hate it. only because i have to leave my AC house and go into the night heat. but no fear. cupcakes await me when i return! maybe ill take a picture of the beautiful thing. it looks like a snow castle..

its like trying to reach for something beautiful...(078/365)

but you just can't achieve it.

is it OK if i admit i was lazy today? i had nothing to reach for. no inspiration or light bulb go off into my head. i had a busy morning. and day, for that matter.

a nap would be nice (077/365)

I've been so busy lately, I think I could nap ANYWHERE. including my grandma's forbidden living room. Last time she saw me taking shots on her red couch she said "I hope you weren't on that sofa!" hehe....

This was definitely inspired by this amazing shot. Wow. So simple but took my breath away today.
