Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. (062/365)

Makeup: Amanda Pritchard

What it is, is.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in the evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

I wanted to be attempting to slice my stuffed animal cat's head off, but grandma didn't like the idea of that! haha. I realized it may have been a little traumatizing for a few? I think the verse represents a "good vs. evil" line. The bottom is just up for interpretation. i know what it means to me :]

It keeps no record of wrongs. (061/365)

Wake me when I'm sleeping. 3/5

I think we all fall short of this expectation. I know I personally tend to keep track of things in the past and open those wounds with salt on them. Ouch! (Sorry Jer). It can even be more painful when you've realized what you've done. I really despise keeping track of these wrongs, but I'm only human, and sometimes it gets the best of me and makes me crumble. Perfect love...keeps no records of wrongs.

I met Liz today! Wow. Super beautiful girl and so fun to shoot. She was my first victim for my photography class assignment. I also posed for some of her portfolio which was fun. Get to be on the other side of the camera :] She treated me to some AWESEOME sushi at lunch :] Its funny when you meet someone who you talk to like you've already known them forever. I love that feeling. Thanks again Liz for today! :D

It does not boast. (060/365)

The Aristocrat 2/5

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in the evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

When I think of being boastful, an aristocrat definitely comes to mind. My dictionary calls boast as someone who is proud or brags about their materialistic collections that are worth something. Love is definitely not within someone who boasts. It doesn't necessarily mean someone who boats ABOUT their love, because all love can be done in anything, not just from a person. Not sure if that makes sense....BUT! Perfect love...is never boastful.

ps. I wish you could all see this BEAUTIFUL 1800's coat my grandma has. Floor length, black velvet. She told me that the designer it was made by, designed for Marie Antoinette. I almost wanted to faint! I love Marie. CHECK OUT THE HUGE RIFLE BEHIND ME! hahaha

Love is patient (059/365)

NEW SERIES:

I will be breaking down one of the most famous love quotes of all time. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Super excited because all though these verses are really...over-played I guess, I read them again the other night and tried to value its words. There really is too much truth in it.

Here it is incase you haven't seen it. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in the evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

I associate patience with sleeping because I am in my most calm state of mind. I always seem to be in a rush or waiting on something/someone or going places. But, when I'm sleeping, its only me. I am patient with what I think about. Perfect love....is always patient.

ps. i AM wearing a shirt :]

the wood between the worlds (057/365)

inspired by the amazing artist of Simón Pais-Thomas. He is truly amazing in his frame series.

School was little rough today. Too bad there were no secret portals to climb through like the one above :] I always end up with the funny teachers. Which I love most. Monotone ones will literally lull me to sleep. It was a zoo. I felt like I was in high-school again, which I try to avoid constantly. Besides that, I think I will have a good semester. Portraiture tomorrow! Can't wait for that :]

I want to take a nap. I think.

at the bottom (056/365)

back to classes tomorrow. i may be choking on some water early this semester. biology, sociology, accounting, and best for last PORTRAITURE! yes. All classes that will own my soul this semester. Help.

another crappy day. spent my day on a lot of other ideas and failed. vintage shopping today lifted my spirits a little. this was originally upside-down but i loved it far too much this way.

where my wounds remain (055/365)

"Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does. Love is a battle, love is a war; love is a growing up."

Fell in love with this quote and its truth to it. Its cooler to think of Love as a battle, one which fights to live and die. People relationships seem to always have battles, or wars, but it takes that sense of growing up to really appreciate its value and know how to treat its wounds after the fight.

The military hat i'm wearing is actually my dad's from when he was a kid! Makes it all the better to wear :] I think he will laugh if he sees this. Fun to paint my face again and do crap to it, haha! It seems like I always have to touch whatever hat i'm wearing, or my hair. bad habit? Hehe

Hope you are all doing well!
