10 things...
The only thing I love about this Wednesday is that in a few short hours this beautiful new lens will be all MINE! I've been dreaming of owning this lens for almost a year now, and I am soooooo excited to finally upgrade! I get to use it this weekend on my beautiful friend Nikki for her grad pictures, and I am super excited! Pretty pictures to come!

I am excited for you! I don't know how much you're going to like using a 35mm on grad pictures though... I think longer focal lengths really do win when it comes to flattering portraits! (Then again, I'm used to the Nikon DX 35mm version)
I think a practical photographer would agree with you. 85 and up are considered the bread and butter of portrait sessions (but I have those) but I find the 35mm more engaging. I'm all about the environment (which is a HUGE part in the shoot on saturday. So I think I'll love it.
